AI Voice Cloning & Biometric Data
Voice cloning uses third-party AI providers (Dropabyte v1, MiniMax, Google Gemini). We obtain explicit consent before cloning any voice and store consent timestamps server-side. Cloned voices are deleted when you delete the source audio or close your account. Voice data is classified as biometric information in some jurisdictions (Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI) and is handled accordingly.
AI Content Disclosure (Apple App Store 5.1.2(i))
Dropabyte Studio uses AI providers to generate audio, music, and voice content. The in-app consent dialog names every provider and the data that flows to them. Consent persists across devices and survives app reinstalls. You can review or revoke consent at any time in Settings → AI providers consent.
Data retention
Generated content is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 30 days (for recovery from accidental deletion). You can request immediate deletion at any time. Voice clone source audio is retained only as long as the clone is active. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible within 14 days of request.
Security
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. We support SSO, SCIM, and audit logs for teams. Payment data is handled by Stripe (web) and Apple (iOS) — we never see your card.
